Going over my daily blog reads today I came across this picture of Japanese nail art. I can't believe people actually do this. Imagine going in weekly to get them done! I can see it now..."hi do you have time to glue on another hello kitty head?" That's some serious shit! That's like Minx nails on crack! Gotta love it though!

chloe.bo.bowie.
I just wanted to formally introduce you...this is Marcie from Chloe and my summer favorite crossbody! One thing I've always loved about Chloe bags is the richness and weight of their leather. It just feels expensive on! I totally loved the zippered top flap as opposed to the traditional top opening. FUN FUN FUN.

crystal.clear.
This summer's must have clutch award goes to Prada's Crystal Kisslock! Absolutely adore! I know I know why would anyone want to have a clear colored clutch? Because it goes with everything, it's different, and fabulous! Found on Bluefly.

lash.exposure.
I don't normally blog about cosmetics or beauty products but this is my one exception: Covergirl Grow Luscious Mascara. My lids have never looked better. Not only does this baby enhance from a physical aspect, it contains wheat protein to condition your eyelashes. It did not flake, come off, or clump! It's most comparable to Dior show mascara but Covergirl I will say CG stole the show.
romp.along.summer.
Finally I've made my favorite romper picks for summa! Starting for the top left 1) M Missoni 2) Michael Stars 3) Roxy 4) Haute Hippie 5) Gypsy 05 6) Cynthia Vincent. One of the things I considered when picking out my select and few fabulous rompers was color! I love the summer because it gives me an opportunity to wear a new color palate!

watermelon.paradis.
Please excuse this heinous photograph. The model looked awful so I had to crop her. ANYWAYS, my cousin is getting married in August and I want to of course purchase a NEW dress for the occasion. Hey! It is my cousin after all! This number is the Paradis one shoulder dress by the one and only Jay Godfrey. What do you think? Thoughts? I feel like the watermelon color makes it appropriate for winter holiday parties and summer evenings!
wrap.it.up.
I spy with my little eye some HOT HOT HOT leather wrap bracelets! It seems the whole bohemian trend has squashed the nation from the tennis courts to the food courts and I can't get enough. Studs? Great! The more the merrier! These babies are by Gorjana and can be found on shopbop!

eff.pax.
Fiona Paxton, one of my favorite jewelry designers, just launched this pretty little number in her Winter 2010 line. LOVE LOVE LOVE. This London based designer first launched her line in 2008 creating hand-beaded necklaces and bracelets. Inspired by Japanese fashion meets British punk and German Bauhaus for her line, the designer first consulted for Armani, Chloe, Moschino, and Michiko Koshino. It's no wonder why I love her work! All the pieces are hand-made and will cost you a pretty penny. This number will put you out $350. Photo courtesy of Shopbop.
UPDATE: I just found out that one of my favorite accessory designers Cara makes a great version of the eff pax. Here it is pictured above. Best part about it? It's $48 bucks! Image courtesy of Nordstrom. Comes in gold too!

vintage.smintage.
Pictured above: Beyond Vintage top $262. Photo courtesy of Singer22.
Pictured: My vintage find from the flea market! $15. Awesome steal! One of my favorite things about shopping vintage would have to be the life behind the clothes. I love that each piece has a flaw and that flaw is what makes it so special. Can you believe how much my vintage top looks like the one pictured above?
one.two.
Here are some of my favorite swimmers of the season! Listed from top yellow bikini and down we have La Perla, Jets by Jessika Allen, Missoni, and Zimmerman. I just purchased a yellow bikini myself! What a great color to make you look like you've already got a tan going! One trend I'm really loving would have to be ruffles! They can play up or hide various assets! Just wonderful! As far as one pieces versus two you ask? I say whatever fits YOU is what's best. Wearing one pieces doesn't mean you've got too much junk in the trunk anymore! Enjoy! trendy.fendi.
Spotted these photos on the Fendi website. I just thought the model and the shots were so gorgeous. Great campaign. The model is also showing off their new Peekaboo bag! I cannot get over what craftsmanship each of the two dresses pictured had. All the lines are so soft and the lace adds a beautiful vintage feel. LOVE it!

layer.cake.
I've been seeing this vintage-inspired trend quite frequently and I absolutely love it. I love 1) Anything silk 2) Solid color 3)Layered 4) Knee-scraping short! This little number is a Givenchy piece I found on The Cut. I just love the way it swings. So FABULOUS!
ying.yang.
I never though I'd ever have a picture of Tom Cruise on my blog...but now I do. Anyways, Katie Holmes launched her very own clothing line Holmes and Yang. She supposedly teamed up with her stylist Jennifer Yang after the two bonded over a pair of Stella McCartney cream linen pants in 2005. BLAH.BLAH.BLAH. Anyway, this is the first outing here I've found that one of her items was actually pictured. I really love the dress. I know I'm shocked too. Who knew Katie Holmes had a stylish bone in her body? My mind keeps reflecting back on Joey moments from Dawson's Creek when she wore those ugly canvas hats and dockers. Oh what money can do to help a sister out. Go KHolmes. Photo's courtesy of stylelist.com.
clog.hog.
Alas, the return of the wooden shoe. Pictured above are two clogs from Jeffrey Campbell's Spring/Summer line! I vowed to never wear a wooden shoe long ago (circa '96) when I retired them along with my Doc Martens and Converse high-tops with curlycue non-tie laces. I tried to fight the trend but the slip on capability and overall versatility fought me. The clogs won. Gotta get some woodies!

valentino.lime.
From runway to real-way Valentino Haute Couture killed it with his AMAZING lime tones! I am liking all this lime! I love how his line was so consistent and the same coloring was portrayed throughout his Spring/Summer show. Of course I've shown a little SJP to get my daily SATC fix! Looking stunning as usual. I've also shown a look straight from his runway. How fun! Pictured below is Dree Hemingway looking fabulous in another one of his dresses! Photo's courtesy of justjared.com

So unless you've been living under a rock this entire Spring/Summer you've got to be familiar with Jeffrey Campbell's Tick wedge. I'm loving this new fabulous color I found it in! Courtesy of Needsupply.com.

Basic # 1: The Jackie O Dress a.k.a. the perfect black dress
I know the whole Black Halo Jackie O dress is a bit played out BUT this is the perfect black dress! Not to take names but Lauren Conrad has had many repeat offenses! This dress is conservative accountant meets sexy school teacher. You can get it here.Basic # 2: The Black Pump
Cole Haan must make the most comfortable shoes I've ever placed on my feet! These shoes work wonders. Cole Haan teamed up with Nike Air® to bring you support cushion and fashion. They come in all shapes and sizes and can be found at Nordy's or the Cole Haan stores. A definite must have in the corporate world! Photo courtesy of Nordy's.
Basic # 3: The White tee
I am in love with Nation ltd basic v-neck! This tee is the most flattering v-neck I've ever rested on my decollate, the perfect length for any torso, sheer but sexy -- not c-thru, and the most comfortable I might just "sleep in this forever" tee. Get some here.
