Regardless of whether or not you love the circus or starring up at Rob Pattinson on the big screen...you ABSOLUTELY must go see Water for Elephants for the fashion. First and foremost can we just have a moment to talk about how iconic the 30's were to our fashion empire? Talk about silk galore, rompers, and bejeweled everything. Why was I born in the wrong era? Jacqueline West was the costume designer on set who did a fabulous job of capturing the sparkle and yet darkness of life in the 30's. And before I get hounded -- yes I did read the book.
